  • Starting with disgusting football against SDSU, fans kept griping that self-inflicted mistakes made wins closer than needed, yet a 54-3 rout, a first Autzen win in 22 years and a 7-0 start softened the complaints.

    “Our defense may very well be top 5 in the country right now. If it wasn't for dumb turnovers on offense, the score for both this game and Oregon's would have looked nicer. Glad we got the run game going again. Unhappy with the sloppy play but I'm sure Chesney will look to fix that ASAP. Holy crap man, 7-0. I'm going to be biting my nails til the end of the season...”
