UCLA beat Purdue 52-38 and moved to 3-0, and somehow the dominant emotion in the fan threads was dread. The turn came when cameras caught the quarterback's hand: "Nico's finger is bleeding," one fan posted, and the mood shifted from scoreboard-watching to injury-watching. Another wanted the offense to stop trying entirely, saying he'd "rather punt it than risk the starting QB getting hurt. WTF." Misery dropped to 30.
