What happened
UCLA beat San Diego State 28-10 on Saturday and moved to 2-0, which on paper reads like a program humming along. The fanbase watched a different movie. The turning point was the first half, the stretch one fan called "one of the worst halves of football I've ever seen at any level," and nothing after it quite washed the taste out. Misery jumped from 11 to 49 in a winning week. As another put it, "that was 60 minutes of disgusting football, win's a win." Undefeated and already exhausted.
