Data Deletion

You can ask us to delete anything we hold about you, including public posts of yours we collected from Reddit, X, Threads or Instagram.

How to ask

Send a request through our contact form, starting with “Delete my data”.
Include your username on the platform (for example your Threads or Instagram handle), links to the posts if you have them, and an email or handle where we can confirm.
We confirm and delete within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Replies, comments and mentions of yours that we collected from our own Threads and Instagram posts.
Public fan posts of yours stored for the Misery Index, fan quotes and fan visuals, and any quote of them on our site.
Any waitlist email or feedback you sent us.

If one of our social posts quotes you, we will remove the quote on request. Anonymous analytics have no name or handle attached; clear your browser’s site data for sadfans.app to reset that ID.

Removed the SadFans app from Facebook or Threads?

SadFans doesn’t offer Facebook or Threads login to the public, so we hold no account data from it. If you think we do, tell us through our contact formand we’ll check and delete it.
