Missed the playoffs

Rangers fans spent September scoreboard-watching Houston, riding giddy hope from sole possession of first in the AL West into anxious despair after series losses to the eliminated Mets and Twins. At 80-82 and out of the playoffs, they now sit in a bitter offseason, rooting for anyone who plays the Astros.
