The story so far

Lost 2-0 to CHW

Astros fans spent September raging over a blown division lead, then clung to a weak AL West as Yordan Alvarez carried their hopes. A quick playoff exit against the White Sox left them bitter, booing the bullpen and debating a rebuild.

what fans talked about, week by week
Season-long

  • Fans went from declaring it over as the Rangers surged, to marveling that a weak AL West let them limp in, to shrugging at an expected exit after eight straight ALCS appearances.

“Listen we are a bit of an entitled fanbase (I know I am), we’ve seen 8 consecutive ALCS appearances, so the bar is high. With that being said, Sousa has been a liability for most of the year so maybe look in the mirror before shouting out that complaints - makes you seem soft.”
