Missed the playoffs

Orioles fans spent the final stretch writing off a 79-82 season, blaming Elias and Albernaz while embracing Pete Alonso as the franchise's new heart. A late win streak softened the mood briefly, but the offseason opened bitter, with most fans grading the year a D at best.
