What happened

J.Daniels going down on that incomplete short right in the second quarter turned a competitive road game into something much darker, and the M.Mariota fumble on the strip-sack in the third made it official. The 24-yard strike to T.McLaurin early feels like a cruel artifact now — proof of what this looks like when the quarterback is upright. The scoreline hurts. The RGIII flashbacks hurt more.
