Fan misery across the game window. Up is worse.
What happened
Survived is the operative word. B.Purdy's 38-yard strike to J.Jennings at 2:23 of the fourth was the dagger that wasn't — Chicago's offense kept marching, with C.Williams finding C.Loveland and L.Burden into the red zone before the incompletion to J.Walker with four seconds left mercifully ended it. The T.Edwards pick-six remains an ugly stain, and a defense that surrendered 38 without Kittle and Williams available raises questions a four-point home win can't quite answer.
