What happened
Three points at home with the season on the line, capped by B.Purdy's red-zone interception by D.Thomas off a play-action look that fooled no one. Z.Charbonnet's 27-yard touchdown run in the first quarter set the tone, and the offense never threatened to change it. The line couldn't protect, the playcalling telegraphed itself, and a fanbase that spent the week believing got handed a grotesque little reminder of how thin the margin actually was.
