What happened
The dagger came at the gun: J.Hurts incomplete deep right into D.Key and P.Surtain coverage, a no-call the fanbase will be relitigating until Thursday. But the loss was built earlier — C.Sutton's 34-yard catch-and-run to the 11 cracked the game open in the fourth, and a Z.Baun unnecessary roughness flag handed Denver the rest. The officiating will dominate the postgame, which conveniently buries a louder question about who's actually calling these plays.
