What happened
Three forced fumbles — including Ja.Phillips scooping up the T.Dodson strip-sack and a recovered muffed kickoff — papered over the kind of defensive breakdown that gets coordinators fired, namely J.Fields jogging 43 yards untouched for a score. T.Tagovailoa found D.Waller and J.Waddle when it mattered, and the scoreboard says win, but a victory that required this many Jets gifts isn't exactly proof of life.
