What happened
After D.Waller's go-ahead score with 52 seconds left looked like another Chargers heartbreak, J.Herbert hit L.McConkey for 42 to flip the field, C.Dicker drilled the 33-yarder, and D.James sealed it by picking off T.Tagovailoa five seconds from zero. The clutch narrative gets rewritten for a week, but a defense that surrendered the lead inside a minute and let D.Achane rip off 49 in the first quarter is the bill still waiting to come due.
