What happened
J.Herbert's 41-yard scramble was the offense's high point, which tells you everything about a 10-27 home loss where the o-line gave him nowhere to stand. The M.Sainristil pick at the WAS 1 with the game still theoretically alive turned a red-zone trip into the gut-punch of the afternoon. J.Croskey-Merritt gashed the defense on the ground and through the air, and the schedule doesn't get kinder before Alt is walking through that door.
