What happened
Two early haymakers — C.Stroud's 75-yard strike to J.Higgins and the 43-yard score to J.Noel — built the cushion this offense then spent the rest of the afternoon refusing to add to. A.Al-Shaair's goal-line pick of J.Herbert saved a game that the C.Kirk interception and O.Hampton's late touchdown nearly gave back. Eight in a row and a playoff berth secured, but D.Stingley limping off on a J.Herbert scramble is the kind of footnote that lingers into January.
