What happened
D.Prescott and G.Pickens were cooking Carolina — the 34-yard touchdown, the 45-yard strike to the CAR 20 — and somehow Dallas still walked out losing on a R.Fitzgerald chip shot at the gun. The defense surrendered touchdowns to R.Dowdle and T.McMillan and let B.Young march down for the winning kick with 2:31 on the clock. When the offense hangs 27 and it isn't enough, the question stops being about scheme and starts being about whether anyone on that side of the ball can stop a drive.
