What happened

Vancouver opened the week by outlasting Anaheim 6-5, a night fans spent celebrating Lekki becoming "a legit NHLer." The glow lasted two days. A 2-3 loss in San Jose was the turning point, with one fan admitting "every time I hear Stenberg, my heart hurts," and a 2-4 home loss to Toronto finished the slide to 1-2. Goaltending took the heat, as one fan suggested "the empty net has a better GAA than Lank." Misery dropped from last week anyway, which says plenty about last week.
