What happened
Three games, three losses, and a fanbase sliding from annoyed to inconsolable. Carolina's 6-3 win still drew praise for a Boeser-Petey sequence, so the mood held. Then Detroit happened: a 5-2 loss so limp the building turned on it, and one fan called the mocking cheer "absolutely deserving for the effort today." That was the hinge. Minnesota's 4-2 finish only confirmed it, with Hughes taking the brunt. Someone invoked the Cubs' 108 years. Nobody argued.
