What happened
Three road games, three losses, and a fanbase that somehow felt better about it. The Islanders took it 3-2 while the room blamed the stripes, insisting the "refs spent the entire new york trip bending the Canucks over" and wondering how Horvat avoided a penalty. Florida was the turning point: another 3-2, with Brady doing the scoring and the comment section reaching for personal insults. By the 4-2 in Tampa, hope had curdled into a wish, one fan hoping aloud they miss the playoffs entirely.
