The week opened with a 7-2 demolition in Ottawa, the kind of night that had fans calling it "the Blues hockey we waited all summer for." Then Minnesota happened. A 4-5 loss turned on the penalty parade — "can't give Quinn Hughes and kaprizov 5 power plays if you want to win" — and the mood never recovered, with Nashville adding a 2-5 finish and a verdict on Binnington: "he was awful."
