What happened

A 2-3 loss to Seattle opened the week with deployment arguments, chiefly that "there is no fucking universe that BUNTING should be on the first power play over MATVEI MICHKOV." Then came Detroit, 1-2, the turning point in every sense: misery peaked, the coach became "a fucking loser," and someone told Danny to "throw the wheelchair down the staircase and get it over with." Beating Ottawa 3-1 cooled things without settling anything, because the complaint was never the scoreboard. It was Barkey in overtime and Michkov on the bench.
