What happened
Monday's 4-3 loss to San Jose did the usual damage, a third period one fan called "embarrassing shit from the team," followed by the ritual self-interrogation: "Why do I let this stupid hockey team dictate my emotions :(" Thursday in Chicago turned it, a 4-1 road win that doubled as exorcism — "SUZUKI DIED FOR THIS" — and Sunday's 2-1 in Winnipeg sealed a 2-1 week. Grievances survived anyway: cross-checks on Hutson, penalty differential conspiracies, and a superstition that Marty's outfit now owns the season.
