What happened
Montreal swept a three-game week, and the tone was set in the opener: a 2-0 shutout in St. Louis that fans instantly crowned "JACOB FOWLER'S LEGACY GAME," with "Carey Price" comparisons right behind. A 5-2 win in Dallas drew praise for "holding a lead while not turtling." Then Pittsburgh made Halloween tense in a 5-4 escape, where "the powerplay" was the scariest sight. Three wins, and the loudest complaint is one special team. In Montreal, that passes for euphoria.
