What happened
A western swing that started in Seattle with a 4-3 loss and the sentiment "Let's get outta this fuckin shithole" briefly turned lovely in Vancouver, where a 5-2 win had people admitting Patrick Kane "was nothing but class here." That was the high-water mark. Calgary's 4-1 answer sent the room back to grumbling about Larkin's shootout attempts, repeated commercials, and broadcasts padded with old footage because of "no competent product on the ice for the 11th straight season." One good night, carefully rationed.
