What happened
Two wins in three games, and the mood barely moved. The week opened with a 4-5 loss to New Jersey that had the room howling, one fan calling Rasmussen "a crime against hockey." The 2-1 grind past Philadelphia was the turn, proof the thing could still be won ugly, and a 4-3 result against San Jose followed. Yet the loudest voices stayed on Larkin, one "convinced Larkin is trying to sabotage this team," another wanting him shipped to Utah. Winning fixed nothing.
