What happened
The week opened kindly: a 5-3 win over Ottawa, and a fanbase happy to agree that "all Red Wings fans can all agree: Fuck Ottawa." Then Seattle arrived and the 6-3 loss turned the mood, one fan admitting "everyone says sell the team. Everyone says this team sucks. I just can't fucking stand it." Montreal finished it 1-0, a shutout nobody needed. Misery eased to 57 anyway, mostly because the anger found better targets — Chiarot's close-ups, the front office, cancer.

“So all it took was Larkin requesting a trade, getting stripped of the C, Yzerman losing his seat as GM, Ed going back to Sweden and Pizza Boy using AI to give a soulless response to fan backlash via LinkedIn? Why the fuck didn’t we do this shit sooner”
