What happened
A 1-3 week opened with a road trip that produced nothing: 2-3 in Philadelphia, where one fan asked for a win for Skye after putting his dog down, then 3-4 in New Jersey, prompting the note about playing "the worst team in the league and a .500 team" for zero points. The 6-3 answer against Tampa, complete with a Kadri power play goal, looked like a turn until Nashville ended it 2-6. By then the diagnosis had shifted from this roster to the man who built it and left.
