What happened
Arizona came to Pullman and left with a 34-24 win, dropping the Cougars to 1-3 and nudging the misery needle from 54 to 59. The turning point wasn't dramatic so much as cumulative: the kicking game, which one fan wants permanently benched with a flat "Don't put our kicker on the field again this season I'm so serious." Elsewhere, the mood went full eulogy, with another declaring the program "6 feet deep." Four games in, the shovel is already out.
