Seven points at Pitt reduced the room to a bathroom metaphor and a Taylor Swift confession about being the problem.
The emotional rollercoaster
UCF fans’ misery during the game, every 15 minutes. Up is worse.
What happened
UCF went to Pittsburgh and lost 7-12, which sounds like a defensive triumph until you notice who scored seven. The turning point wasn't a play so much as a realization, somewhere in the second half, that the touchdown already on the board was the only one coming. One fan described the offense as resembling "when you throw up and poop at the same time," which is unkind but difficult to refute. Another simply offered: "it's me, hi. i'm the problem it's me." At 1-1, the Knights have scored enough points to beat almost nobody.
