What happened
Tennessee won 24-17 at Arkansas and moved to 5-1, and the fanbase treated it like a wake. The turning point came when the Vols finally stopped the bleeding in Fayetteville, where "25 years of pig voodoo backing him up and he still found a way" was the kindest thing anyone said about it. Elsewhere the verdict was blunter: "We deserve to go down after this. We are not a top 20 team." Misery jumped from 36 to 71 on a victory. Winning has rarely felt so much like evidence.
