What happened

The defense did its job, holding Miami to 16, and somehow that's still the story of a loss. M.Gay's 56-yarder sailing wide right is the gut-punch headline, but the real damage was M.Sainristil muffing the punt to hand Miami the field, and O.Gordon getting stuffed at the 3 when a touchdown would've changed everything. Two weeks off now, which feels less like a bye and more like a mercy.
