What happened
Three B.Purdy interceptions — two of them deep balls to R.Pearsall picked by 8-Ja.Horn and M.Jackson — and the offense still walked away with a primetime win, which says everything about the defense Saleh fielded without the usual stars. J.Brown's two picks of B.Young, including the Q4 dagger at the SF 22, papered over a passing game that kept handing Carolina the ball. The scoreboard says comfortable; the film says otherwise.
