What happened
The S.Darnold-to-J.Smith-Njigba 63-yard strike in the second quarter did the heavy lifting, and Seattle needed every yard of it to survive a Tennessee team that had no business hanging around. A win is a win, but beating a bottom-tier opponent by six while the fanbase spends the night yelling about officiating isn't the kind of Week 12 performance that calms anyone down. The concern isn't the scoreboard — it's that this looked hard.
