Eagles fans toasting J.Hurts' perfect passer rating while still demanding the OC be fired during the bye.
The emotional rollercoaster
Fan misery across the game window. Up is worse.
What happened
J.Hurts went 19-of-23 with a perfect rating, hitting D.Smith for 79 and A.Brown twice for scores, yet the postgame chatter still circled the playcaller. That tension — a quarterback playing the best football of his life while fans argue about the scheme around him — is the Eagles in a nutshell right now. 5-2 and first place, with J.Elliott shanking a 42-yarder wide right just to keep everyone honest.
