What happened
The script wrote itself in the first quarter: J.Allen scrambling 40 yards through the middle, then J.Fields coughing it up on a sack-fumble recovered by A.Epenesa at the NYJ 24. Down two scores before the offense found a rhythm, the Jets spent the rest of the afternoon confirming what the building already suspected. The moral-victory crowd has nothing to grade on a curve, and it's Week 2.
