What happened
The game effectively ended in the first quarter, when T.Shough opened with an incompletion to R.Shaheed, got sacked by B.Fiske for a nine-yard loss, and watched M.Stafford carve up the secondary on chunk plays to T.Ferguson and D.Allen. Shough got his first NFL touchdown out of the wreckage, which feels less like a milestone than a participation ribbon. The real concern isn't the rookie — it's that the protection and the drops keep making the evaluation impossible.
