The emotional rollercoaster
Fan misery across the game window. Up is worse.
What happened
T.Shough hit C.Olave for a 62-yard touchdown in the second and later found J.Johnson deep twice, including a 30-yard score that effectively closed it out. The defense did its part too, with P.Werner falling on a B.Young fumble and A.Taylor picking him off in the fourth. One competent road win over Carolina doesn't rewrite the season, but a quarterback moving in the pocket and pushing the ball downfield is more than this group had a week ago.
