What happened
Down by five with the ball, S.Rattler's third-down sack-fumble at the NO 34 was recovered by C.Ruiz, but the drive still stalled, and a N.Bosa sack three minutes later sealed it. The J.Jennings 42-yard touchdown from M.Jones was the dagger, on what looked an awful lot like a route the secondary had seen all afternoon. Competitive into the fourth, again. Close enough to hurt, not close enough to matter.
