What happened
A.Jeanty did everything a rookie running back can do in a losing effort — a 60-yard catch-and-run from G.Smith in the third, then a 51-yard touchdown run in the fourth — and it still wasn't enough, because D.Stingley's pick-six in the first quarter functionally decided a two-point game before anyone settled in. The fanbase has quietly made peace with losing well, which is its own kind of season.
