What happened
J.Herbert hit Q.Johnston for a 23-yard score in the first quarter and a 50-yard rip in the third, and for once the offensive line gave him a clean pocket all afternoon — no sacks, a first this season. The G.Pickens deep ball was the only real scare, and even that faded by the time L.McConkey punched in his 25-yard touchdown. Three straight wins through the hard part of the schedule, and the playoff math is suddenly doing the work for them.
