Chiefs fans won 33-30 and still spent the night screaming about Colts devil magic and a phantom down-by-contact call.

What happened

Kansas City needed overtime, a H.Butker chip shot, and a N.Williams-forced fumble on a 50-yard D.Jones strike to L.Treadwell just to survive a Colts team it should have buried. The P.Mahomes-to-R.Rice 31-yarder at the end of regulation set up the tying kick, but the fanbase is already exhausted — a 2-0 start that feels like open-heart surgery, with officiating grievances baked in. If every win costs this much, the season is going to be very long.
