Chiefs fans watching K.Walker gash the Broncos for 31-10 and quietly deciding the reload is real.

What happened

K.Walker's 60-yard touchdown romp in the third put a bow on a game that Denver never really threatened, and even a P.Mahomes interception to B.Jones couldn't dent the cushion. Holding B.Nix's offense to a single E.Engram score while the run game gashed the Broncos is the kind of Week 1 that lets a nervous fanbase exhale. Whether the passing game holds up against a real defense is next week's problem.

What fans said

  • “Welcome back Mahomes. It feels so good to see Mahomes actually have a run game. Walker was running all over the donkey's defense.”
