What happened
A 30-17 final with P.Mahomes hitting X.Worthy for an early score and J.Smith-Schuster ripping off 30 to set up points — the offense looked functional in a way it hasn't all year. The A.Hutchinson strip-sack that Mahomes recovered himself was the kind of break that's been going the other way lately. Misery drops 46 points in a week, but the fanbase isn't celebrating so much as exhaling, waiting to see if this version of the offense actually sticks.
