The emotional rollercoaster

Fan misery across the game window. Up is worse.

What happened

D.Carlson's 60-yard walk-off boot from 60 out spoiled a fourth quarter where KC actually generated takeaways — J.Cochrane recovering the E.Downs fumble on the kickoff, then S.Buechele finding M.Brown for 51 to set up a go-ahead chance. Losing 12-14 to Vegas in Week 18, with the offense scraping for points and fans openly calling for Nagy's job, makes the offseason conversation start before the clock even hits zero.
