What happened
J.Myers walks on with 22 seconds left and drills a 56-yarder, and somehow that isn't even the cruelest part — P.Rivers throwing it up for M.Pittman and finding C.Bryant instead just confirmed what everyone already suspected. B.Grupe's 60-yard answer will get clipped and shared as a small mercy, but the season's math doesn't care. The anger has cooled into something quieter, and that might be worse.
