What happened

Overtime did what overtime does to a team that doesn't trust itself: C.Skattebo ripped off a 42-yard dagger up the middle, and D.Singletary walked in from 30 out to end it. The late C.Stroud-to-X.Hutchinson touchdown with 57 seconds left should have been the signature moment of a gutty home win; instead it's a footnote to a loss that has the fanbase openly calling for the house to be cleaned. The margin for belief is gone.
