What happened

C.Stroud's crew did their part — the Schultz-to-Montgomery lateral setting up shop at the DAL 6, the J.Noel 22-yard strike down the right side — and still the scoreboard found a way to say 34-30. The defense had no answer for C.Lamb all afternoon, and D.Prescott's 12-yard dagger to him with 43 seconds left was the inevitable ending everyone saw coming three quarters earlier. Scoring 30 at home should not feel like this.
