What happened

W.Anderson personally handed the offense two takeaways in the second half, and it still wasn't enough — S.Shrader's 53-yarder with 21 seconds left iced it, and C.Stroud's desperation heave to the deep right fell incomplete as time expired. The defense created the moments; the offense couldn't cash them, settling for a K.Boutte grab to the IND 12 that never became seven. Three years in, the questions about play-calling and clock management aren't going away.
