Misery Index · Despair
Lions fans have moved past anger into open contempt for Sheppard, Holmes, and a defense that couldn't slow a JV Bills.
The emotional rollercoaster
Fan misery across the game window. Up is worse. ● biggest swings
What happened
J.Allen's 43-yard strike to J.Palmer on the opening script set the tone, and the defense never found an answer — scrambles of 12, 13, and 14 yards suggested nobody had a plan for a mobile quarterback the entire league has known about for seven years. A.Hutchinson's strip-sack was the lone bright spot, promptly undone when BUF recovered. The offense scored 31 and still lost by ten, which points the finger somewhere specific, and fans have already picked the name.
