The emotional rollercoaster
Fan misery across the game window. Up is worse.
What happened
The opening drive ended with J.Goff's short middle throw for B.Wright sailing into C.DeJean's hands at the DET 32, and Detroit never really recovered from spotting Philly that field position. J.Williams turned a 40-yard touchdown into a penalty flag, J.Gibbs ripped off chunk plays that led to nothing, and nine points is what it added up to. The accuracy questions around Goff aren't going away, and neither is the feeling that the margin for error has quietly vanished.
